This rule is based on the guidelines of the 82-page Graduate Medical Education Regulation 2023 prepared by the Undergraduate Medical Education Board. The guidelines for GMER 2023 were published on 23 June. And it was said that all these rules will be applicable to all admissions in MBBS courses in the medical college in 2023-24. MBBS Admission From August 1 To 30

These rules of GMER 2023 were published in the Indian Gazette on 2 June. And were also uploaded on the official website of NMC last Thursday. The National Testing Agency, which declared the results of NEET-UG 2023 on Tuesday, said that NEET scores will now be used for admission to MBBS, BDS, Veterinary, B.Sc Nursing, and B.Sc Life.

Government of India will conduct the counseling for 15% All India Quota seats in State Medical Colleges, Deemed University, Central University, and AMU. Directorate of Medical Education in each state will fill 85% seats in state government colleges through NEET state counseling 2023.

Academic Calendar for the 2022-2023 MBBS Batch

The duration of MBBS course of 4 ½ years will now be divided into three parts, first and second part will be of 12 months and third part will be of 30 months. In this, the first part will be of 12 months and the second part will be of 18 months.

In the first year the MBBS student is introduced to the preclinical subjects Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Introduction to Community Medicine, Professional Development including Humanities, Attitudes, Ethics and Communication (AETCOM) modules, Family Adoption Program through Village Outreach, Epidemiological Modules and Preparatory Subjects Will be taught In the second year, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, general surgery by family under community medicine, general medicine, male and female diseases, etc. will be explained.
